Trinkle Brass Works has more than 25 years of experience performing residencies in public schools, senior centers, libraries, colleges and universities and art centers. Ensemble members have been artists-in-education in Wisconsin, Virginia, North Carolina, Kansas, and Missouri.

Residencies are tailored to each site and can include "themed recitals" and "children's literature and music integration."

The following are activities most requested:

Lecture-Demonstrations – for high school, college or general audience; program focuses on musical and technical characteristics (structure, style, performance practice, harmonic series, embouchure, breathing, etc.) in a variety of repertoire.

Chamber Music and Large Ensemble Coaching – for middle, high school, or college students; may include brass, woodwind, percussion, string or piano students.

Masterclasses – for advanced, intermediate or adult students of prepared repertoire for refining performance techniques.

Workshops and clinics - for middle, high school, college students, and adults focusing on musicality, the concept of ensemble performance, basic skills taught in school with emphasis on intonation, articulation, and precision.

Informances - short age-appropriate recitals for elementary students.
