Trinkle Brass Works has more than 25 years of experience performing residencies in public schools, senior centers, libraries, colleges and universities and art centers. Ensemble members have been artists-in-education in Wisconsin, Virginia, North Carolina, Kansas, and Missouri. |
Residencies are tailored to each site and can include "themed recitals" and "children's literature and music integration."
The following are activities most requested:
Lecture-Demonstrations – for high school, college or general audience; program focuses on musical and technical characteristics (structure, style, performance practice, harmonic series, embouchure, breathing, etc.) in a variety of repertoire.
Chamber Music and Large Ensemble Coaching – for middle, high school, or college students; may include brass, woodwind, percussion, string or piano students.
Masterclasses – for advanced, intermediate or adult students of prepared repertoire for refining performance techniques.
Workshops and clinics - for middle, high school, college students, and adults focusing on musicality, the concept of ensemble performance, basic skills taught in school with emphasis on intonation, articulation, and precision.
Informances - short age-appropriate recitals for elementary students. |
